Tour Leader: Markus Person, German, born in 1965, lives in Kathmandu , Nepal , since 2004. After completing his degree in computer science and working ten years in the IT industry, Markus' passion – travelling – first turned into a way of life and then into his second profession. Markus is fluent in German, English, and French. The transformation from manager in a consulting firm to tour leader started in 2002 with a kora around holy Mt. Kailash at full moon. After that, Markus travelled for two years through Asia . Since 2004, he is leading tours in Tibet , Nepal and India for a German tour operator and volunteers for a humanitarian organisation in Kathmandu . Since 2007, Markus works also for SnowJewel.
