Markus Person, German, born in 1965, lives in Kathmandu, Nepal, since 2004. After completing his degree in computer science and working ten years in the IT industry, Markus’ passion – travelling – turned into his new profession. The transformation from manager in a consulting firm to tour leader started in 2002 with a kora around holy Mt. Kailash at full moon. After that, Markus travelled for two years through Asia. Since 2004, he is leading tours in Tibet, Nepal and India for a German tour operator. Since 2007, Markus works also for Snow Jewel. Markus is fluent in German, English, French, and Nepalese.
